He represents national geographies, banking consortia and industry sectors for example within the European Commission and the EPC. Before entering the world of finance he helped transform many industries through diverse international managerial roles at IBM for many years. He was educated at Cambridge University, UK.
Michael Steinbach (1961) has been CEO of this company since 1 January 2012. Prior to this, he held the position of Chairman of the this company Board of Directors as from 1 May 2007. She is now responsible for developing the payments strategy for Worldline, with a focus on global, transversal topics requiring an industrialised, cross business line approach. A true payment expert, Sylvie is able to manage multiple business initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment, working with multiple disciplines from R&D, Product Management, through to Sales. Her ability to identify strategic needs, lead all aspects of planning with sound business recommendations, and generate alignment with key business partners, means her role is truly end-to-end, from strategy to active business generation.
